Hi guys,

I got a KTM charger (Power Parts 58429074200). Pretty nice device, never had a problem:

However, there's one thing that I can't understand and can't find the answer in the stupid user manual.
There's only one little switch on this charger:

The question is – what do they mean saying "large battery" and what is the "small AGM battery"? which setting should be used with the stock Yuasa?
Anyone has an answer to this?

AGM is a Absorbed glass mat battery. They are used in dirt bikes, jet skis and so on as the acid is in a glass mat which stops the plates from touching an the battery is also fully sealed.
If you have a battery like that it is marked on the battery
The original Yuasa is a normal battery so you can use the "big" battery setting.

In my opinion you are better of getting a proper trickle charger which you can leave on all the time like a c-tec or someting. But that's just my 2 cents.

As far as I understand, the stock Yuasa is AGM type as well: http://www.yuasabatteries.com/batteries.php
That's why this switch settings confuse me.

PS this is a trickle charger, it has a float-maintanance mode as well as test functions etc. little or no difference to ctek. but having a 6v option is a huge benefit for me, as I'm a happy owner an old '74 Jawa bike

it looks like this is a modified Yuasa charger model with KTM badge. The difference is this switch and 6v charging option:

Most places are stating that it is an AGM, so I'd go with that.

Plus it's not exactly a "large" battery.
