Hey all, totally new here. just got bike last night and first ride today.
Bike feels a bit clogged up. Seems like there is potential for great power and sound increases.
about to buy: Leo Vince Oval EVO II Slip-On Exhaust KTM 990 (aluminium).
Anyone can report on it?
Will it get substantial power gains?
did you, or should i remap bike for this exhaust?
also thinking to do motohooligans airbox mod.
thanks in advance

do a search on here as there is a ton of info on what you want to do.
Many guys have Leos, i am a Akropovic man myself, both work well. with any system you are going to want to do a remap (dyno work by someone experienced is highly recommended however), sooner than later.
the Motobox is a fantastic pc of hardware made by one of the guys on this forum. that with a good system and a remap are the way to go.
you can go further, many recommend removing the secondary flies, and there is research going right now on by another innovative forum member on replacing the
intake stacks, both will gain additional HP.

Hang on to your dosh for a full system or at least replacement headers.
A slip on will save on weight and give you a little gain, but the headers are a bit shit IMO.
Akra Evo, Remus headers (will fit any slip on made for the SD/R), Fresco headers (not as well researched by forum members.
Try and save the major mods to do at once if you are looking to save money as each one requires a dyno tune
eg. Motobox/Rottibox/DNA, Rc8 stacks/DVS, Exhaust Slip on/Full system.

I had leo vince´s carbon, now have FMF apex carbon, both are great, both are LOUD, like the look of the FMF better, but if you´re getting the Leos cheap, go for it....

Leo's are nice but loud. Next warm day I'm pulling mine off, Leo build quality is good though.
