Hi Just a quick one cant find the answer anywhere.Got a brand new 1290 more or less still in the crate now are the mirrors left handed thread or right handed thread. These are so tight and i just pray im turning them the right way and dont want to snap them off but dare not give it the big one until im sure what thread they are. Also what are the best mirrors for these bikes. The stock ones seem like all you can see is your elbows and i had the same problem with my Ducati. Dont want to go trying loads off different mirrors if one of you guys have already sussed it. I want to be able to see whats behind me specially over here. Cheers

Normally the mirrors are designed so that at high speed the wind keeps them tight against the thread so they won't come loose.
So the right will be left to loosen and the left will be right to loosen.

Think they are both right hand, only reason I think that, is I put 2 grub screws in to fill the hole when I put bar ends on and doubt that I would have had a left hand one (it was a few years ago now).
