After saving alittle doing my own service I'm contemplating in a new air mod. With a dyno once done.

I have read before from this wonderful site about both modifications but what one to go for?
What's the benefits between the two.

Other than price!

Motobox is a K&N filter housed in an beautiful aluminium work of art. Rottweiler is a couple of cone filters chucked in a placcy margarine tub.

Aaron from Motohooligan supported Superdukers by designing and making a brilliant peice of enginnering when no one else was willing to. He also does a load of other nice performance bits, does (or at least did) offer discounts to SD.Net folk and sell you a product that has a resale value when you decide to change your bike.

CPR Rottweiler jumped on the bandwagon with a cheaply made product. Spouted a load of bullshit claims for huge horespower gains that no one was ever able to substantiate and failed to justify how a bit of plastic and a 30 quid filter could cost 200+ quid.

Most of the difference in price is import duty anyway, which Aaron cant control but look at what you are getting and it is clear to see there is far greater profit in the CPR Rottweiler

Just my opinion but you can guess which one I have.

To me having the choice of nice machined aluminium that will last the bike life's and KN production garantie is worth the extra buck ( and I paid in Euros lol )

Personally I have rotty as when I was buying it, Motohooligan was not selling anything, they came back with theirs products not long time ago.. I cannot fault Rotty, it completely changed my bike and it does do the job, but if I would have a choice those days I would go for Motohooligan. It is just about build quality which looks much better for me.

All been said here by Stupid Luke.

Performance wise probably similar.

Motohooligan's products are like paying for titanium Akrapovich full-systems compared with getting a cheaper exhaust make. You get the brand, the quality, the authenticity, the reassurance, the re-sale value, all that. But if you can't afford it or are more pragmatic about where your money goes then there's nothing wrong with the alternative. The Rotweiller system is not badly made or cheap or ineffective. It's just not a Motohooligan one.

You can probably guess which one I have too

For the budget conscious SD'er, there is a 3rd alternative.
