Except that it looks like a Diavel ...

The 800cc bikes will look just like the 675s. Longer stroke only, as there's apparently no room to bore further.

I am only commenting on the looks. Not diavelish in my eyes (except for maybe the rear fender). Couold stand to loose the hand guards as well.

Wouldn't buy an 800cc anything.

You can adjust the ECU settings from the control panel display on the new MV's. MCN said the presets aren't so great, but you can tune it in how you like manually. I just watched a review on the american motorcycle.com where they were comparing the F4 to RSVR 4, and their biggest complaint was the F4 power band was too abrupt. They didn't mention anything about how you can easily remap the ECU to your tastes. Completely useless comparison other than the RSVR 4 includes a quick shifter. I hope KTM builds a 690 sport bike (twin) with fully customizable power maps like the MV.

I still cannot get over how good this MV looks. If they were to make the 1090RR look like this I'd be hrad pressed to not step up to the plate. The red is brilliant!

Put some Brembo monoblocks on it and a 1078cc motor....as Clarkson would say 'I'm having a bit of a crisis'

And here it is (2013 1090RR):

I dunno, while another handsome machine, the 800 is the better looker IMO. Perhaps its that "less is more" appeal that's doing it for me. The 1090 looks bigger (?) and busier.

It will be interesting to see both together when they arrive.

After seeing its bigger brother the 1090 I'd rather take the smaller more compact 800, the 800 I feel is just about the perfect size for a bike. I do wonder how well they crash though as I'd imagine replacement parts would just about be in the first born range.

The copied the headlight/mask of the Husqvarna Sm630 and took the wheel cover directly from a Husqvarna Nuda 900

The ducati is not looking as good
