My bike feels terrible, I set everything back to factory standard and it sucks now. Every time I go over a bump the bike throws me of nearly! It's ok as your going into the bump but ten when your over it, it springs back and throws u out of the seat.

Also when I've turned in to corners my front end has slipped a bit or my back end has stepped out and I have hardly been giving it any stick. Any adjustment advise would be appreciated.

Is there a decent suspension house near you - perhaps one that has some experience setting up SDs?

Try search - there is no shortage of threads on the topic.

tighten up the rebound should slow down the launching ...

if all else is good just turn that rebound screw on the rear shock all the way in and ride it - then back it out little by little till your happy with it. might work

cheers --

Definitely rebound for the "kicking you out of the seat" issue.

Are your tyre pressures set correctly? as this may explain the front/back end step outs. Also ensure you dont have too much preload at either end.

Best bet is to get the suspension set up correctly by someone who knows what they are doing with regards static sag & rider sag and then you can play with compression and rebound settings safe in the knowledge that you have a good base point.

good luck

When you set it back to standard did you wind the setting screws all the way in first then back them out.
Just thinking you might has done it back to front by winding them all the way out?
