First they need to collect plenty of deposits, sight certification issues causing a delay, revise the 'final product' to meet certification, apply to certify the bike in the USA (before domestic release), face more lawsuits demanding refunds, move to new modern production facilities due to "heritage designation" of their current home and further delays while the company is sold to Fiat/Chrysler.

I like the looks too..
It got me to looking at Nortons website..
Not cheap for what you get..I had read of guys putting deposits
and waiting and waiting still no delivery.. Norton in finacial stress
Olins and Brembos are a plus. $22K to $24K American..
Are there any of them on the road in the U.K.yet ???
I think I'd pick up a Triumph..

Wait for a lotto win,
give up work
learn to weld
learn to machine
buy a cnc
buy a lathe
buy a tig welder
buy a pipe bender
learn how to panel beat aluminium
source a suitable engine (unless you want to spend extra time and learn how to make your own)
buy some parts you don't want to make yourself
build the bike
result... faster than putting a deposit down woth norton and probably cheaper too.

I think the Domiracer looks great, but like all prototypes will need some 'changes' to meet current road-worthy requirements. Just need to look at the 1290 prototype and the production versions.

There have been a couple of good articles on Norton and their troubles in interviews with owner Stuart Garner here http://www.speedmonkey.co.uk/2012/08/in ... arner.html

And a more recent article http://rideapart.com/2013/05/stuart-gar ... ns-future/

I think they'll survive to deliver bikes.
