Thanks for the support. My objection to the company is that they bought all their technology for a man who poured his heart and soul into reviving the brand - Kenny Dreer. They have added no value, upset their clients, their suppliers, yet expect an expanded market to 'fix' them. What will fix them is making a good product, servicing it, then expanding because their product is worth it. They are relying on a name only with out proving themselves.
That is swindling. For the record I have not put money down. I would have considered it with Kenny Dreer. I rode the track in Portland on they days they were shaking out the per-production bugs on the bike. That bike was worth paying for. These ones...not so much.

Too bad Kenny did not pull it off want he started. Had an eary walk thru his shop and spent a day with him at the BMW rally in John Day a few years back. He did the GS ride with a HD adventure type. He had very little or no off road experience but did great. We passed plenty of BMW GS's. A friend of mine who worked with Kenny asked me to keep an eye on him on the ride. We had a blast. We traded bikes off and on, had lunch in Senaca at my buds old bar and roosted the back roads. Fun time. He said he did not want to talk about what went bad with his Norton dream so we just had a grand day.
Home town for me....close to Corvallis.....I bet we know some of the same PNW riders.
Sorry about the hijack and off left field hit....must be the beer working. Cheers !

Yea, that was pertty dam cool. Both days. Kenny is really a cool cat to hang with. We signed our names to dollar bills to hang up in the Senecka bar. Not sure if they are still there cause they rebuilt the bar. Hundreds of bills on the walls. He signed as Your Daddy or some shiit like that. He is in to drag racing the last I heard. Small-ish guy not shy to twist the loud handle from what I saw. We get / got to see his bikes at the Vintage M/C meet at the local Benton County Fair grounds in May each year.
The other bragging rite/ holy meeting event I was at was in Italy in 96. Went on a wood working tooling tour. I will botch this spelling but it Morribadi or some thing close...the guy who tried to make the V8 touring bike.....well his bike shop was connected to his tool manufacturing plant and got a tour thru. That was a regilous experience for me..all kinds of wreath hanging from the wall of races won back in the days...man...bikes, tools the whole real deal...I was a mess...thought I died and passed on to the good place.
