Having put up with my '05 SD running like shit for too long I finally bit the bullet and sent it up to Kev at Projex on the advice of members on here. This required sending it from London to the West Midlands to a man I had never met before with a list of jobs to do on it. This was the best decision I have made yet with this bike, Kev is an absolute genius! I love this bike again!

It was running rich, snatchy, stalling and generally not happy, Kev removed the SAS, secondary flies and shafts, fitted the DNA3 box and mapped it on the PC3 and it is night and day a different bike! I'v just been out for a little run in traffic and she purs along with the most amazing throttle response, NO snatch, No hunting, just amazingly precise and smooth delivery. Its so good to have my SD back even though i'v been playing on my Panigale for the last two months which made the SD feel a little slow and like a touring bike:) A few minutes in though and you remember how to ride the SD, chuck it around ride like a hooligan. Glad to have them both.... although the SD now makes the Panigale fueling in traffic feel crude.

So if you think your bike needs some mapping and set up do not hesitate to send it to Kev, he is The Man and ridiculously good value. He also powder coated the subframe and engine slider mounts, changed the gear spline which was worn, fitted the starter mod kit, cleaned and serviced the front brakes and generally went through the whole bike tightening and replacing where necessary. He was great to deal with, completely sorted my bike and i'v still never met him:)

I saw your bike at Kev's and we couldn't believe the amount of soot that was in your exhaust - I have never seen anything like it!
Kev is a great bloke and knows his stuff: very glad to hear you are happy with the bike now!
