Oil Leak

Gave the 990 a look over today, as the Oxford Heated Grips were running full on constantly the last 3 times I used it (beginning of November ). They're now disconnected.

I know I have a weep from the Oil Screen cover which will be sorted come service time in March, but today I noticed loads of oil all over the front of the rear spring, on the frame and the top of the rear cylinder where "Magnesium" is stamped.

I originally thought the top of the shock must be leaking, but on closer inspection I don't think it is, as the gunk is on the front outside of the spring, not on the inside of it . There's around 4 smallish hoses up there (not sure if they are for the oil tho), and a sensor into the top of the cylinder. Any knowledgeable folk know if any of these are usual offending parts? I've also read about a breather chucking oil onto the rear cylinder, but I didn't notice said breather (tho I wasn't privvy to that info when I was casting my eye over the bike, so wasn't exactly looking for breathers), so is this a possible cause either? I have no idea whether this breather is as high as my leak seems to be, cos mine is as high as the top of the spring.

Any help appreciated to stop my eyes being taken out by putting it into a garage.

Thanks.
