Anyone who rides like this two up deserves a kick up the ass!
I've been down at high speed on the back of a bike and its no joke I was KO for 25 mins.

Hahahaha that was me and I don't usually lean like that with her on the back, it was on of those deceiving curves that got way sharper halfway through. Lesson learned. Luckily she never let go of me and stayed on top of me for most of the slide, just wish she was wearing better pants. She was actually laughing about it and I still haven't heard any s*** from her.... you could say she's a keeper those sliders are worth every penny

And the 20 miles after that with no clutch was real fun, thank god the guy at wheelers was able to weld it

Yep, twisties with a passenger is a big no no for me.

My excuse to buy a second bike in the future is that the SD calls me to ride it harder, need a layback bike for the sunday rides with the Mrs Trecolareco lolol

But with those minor damages on her knee the speed must not be too much either...it hurts just to think about it though.

That reddit post is pretty funny, but then again she might be a little to trusting... on the other hand she really loves those twisties. I know I could never ride on the back with someone through that so gotta love her. Ain't that the truth Mr_Trecolareco and those that never do never really ride. The top sliders are ebay ones, I like them better because they're longer than any others I could fine and cheaper and did the job just as well The axle ones are R&G which I don't recommend because you can't get replacement pucks you have to buy a whole new set. Guess they made them for looks not to be used.

Here's all the pictures

Yea she did good, spot on her knee was pretty rough but then again it was just bare skin. Riding pants coming for the future, hope they never get tested. She has gloves now too. The carbon knuckles on mine were flattened.... it was time for a new pair anyways

My knees and hips on both sides are scarred for life from low side gravel rash when I was riding in the seventies and eighties with nothing but jeans on. I can't recommend it now. Hours of time in A&E with nurses picking bits of road out of your burning flesh. Hours soaking off bandages in the bath when they have sort of fused into your healing skin. Those were the days of careless disrespect for our bodies and especially our girlfriends bodies. I wouldn't ride without proper kit on now, not in anger on twisties. Maybe down to the pub or the shops on a summers day but I'd be extra careful. It feels like driving a car without a seatbelt on - possible but you are just so aware of the negative consequences if something bad happened.

Glad to hear that you both got away with it this time.

In the UK you can get R&G replacement sliders without buying the whole kit. Is this not possible in the States?

LOL

You should have seen me choosing pink helmets...trouble is Shark does not do RSX or up in pink lol, Arai were ugly by her standards ( glad so because it would be an expensive pretty pink helmet ).

So lucky Shoei had a great price in a pretty pink Helmet

Dainese gloves and Bering full protection jacket. now after those pics...trousers time for her ( she hardly rides with me and I take extra care...)

Icon has some new woman's gear that's pretty nice. The contra jacket looks good and is fully armored. Like everyone said pants are way harder than jackets to find
