I thought the power parts one is a Suter? That's why Suter are reluctant to deal with owners and just send you back to KTM.

I thought the bikers jersey one was the power parts one but I could be wrong.

CAUTION!

....unless you are going to go and collect the clutch from jersey and smuggle it back to UK in your under crackers..... The VAT man will be wanting his 20% on its entrance into the UK, should the clutch be faulty or not be the right one you will not get the 20% back when you send it back to jersey and you will then get charged it again when the replacement arrives! Great huh!...... pretty sure there is a complaints procedure through the treasury to get the VAT back on warranty item back but.... the government only tends to give money back to chavs and spongers so good luck with that!

same product is available from your local ktm dealer for the same price plus VAT....

Right guys ,thanks for your comments.
To be honest im still no wiser regarding choice,a mate has just bought a new KTM and included in the deal he had £750 to spend on power parts out of the catalogue,i was going to buy the slipper and give him cash but there quoting a stupid price.
Do any of you run this one,and if so is it ok compared to the others.STM,Suter etc.

Sigma and its derivatives give a clicky feeling when you pull in clutch but are great and I would not not pay the price new for some of the others although they don't have the clicky sensation.

Cannot recall which one Klincky and Bic has but they had to get stronger springs due to the power causing the clutch to slip.

They range from 350-550 used on ebay but do not come up that often.

Yep, me and Klink have a Suter clutch. It's a great bit of kit - did have to put stronger spring plate in to cope with extra power from all the mods over the years but apart from the huge learning curve went through to resolve that I've had no problems at all. They are expensive new and don't come up much used but I'd get one if you can find one. I think this is the same clutch as the KTM powerparts item.

I got a suter I have to say it took me half a track day to start getting the worth of one of these, it leaves you with less to do when firing down the gears to hairpins and slow corners, instead of slipping the clutch trying to get the rear under control while braking heavy, i found myself just counting each time you bang on the lever then letting the clutch out and the slipper would do the work, I look forward to playing with it my next track day, I seen bic and clinks post about the stronger spring and got one before I even tried it

I find that I use it on track and sometimes coming into roundabouts fast but generally on the road I still blip the throttle, match the revs to the road speed and feed the clutch out to control braking. Old habits die hard!
