RC8 exhaust on 1290 SD?

Would an RC8 under belly exhaust fit on the 1290 Super duke?
Im not talking direct bolt up but with some minor fabrication could you make it work?

I'm pretty sure there is not enough space under the bike. From the look of it is sits much lower than the RC8.
