Hi All,
I have two seats, the stock one with a cowl mounted and the KTM gel seat. I want to be able to use either seat without having to remove the lock and transferring it to the other seat. I can get a seat lock but my question is can the new lock be re-keyed to use my key?

Cost is much higher than buying fresh seat lock sets.
I too bought a standard seat from breaker in LA to have it rebuilt by Rick Mayer in Anderson California, after my 08" Duke's gel seat didn't meet expectations.
Dealer said to just buy "seat lock sets" rather than have the locksmith do his thing, I agreed and I bought two or three seat lock sets for $17, I think. Just label one "seat" and put it on your key ring and enjoy.

Seriously why does the gel "comfort" seat suck so bad? the stock one is miles better.
