Hey guys, it seems its been quite a process with my SDR getting it sorted. First and formost the snatchyness was freaking terrible. I ended up putting a Motobox on, RC8 velocity stacks, and FMF apex cans. Now the motor is smooth, almost like a different bike. Then it just seemed to push the front really bad in corners(Still on the OEM Rosso III's from 08). It was aweful and resulted it quite large and embarassing chicken strips. Well i got a set of power one take offs installed the other day and took it out for a proper flogging yesterday. HOLY SHIT. Its like a new bike. Chicken strips gone it finally handles like it was ment to. So glad i didnt decide to sell it. It just rails corners like a beast. I love it.

I have Rosso II's on my 08 Superduke and the handling is beautiful no chicken strips
Maybe the OEM tyres are not 100% as good as aftermarket ones.

they were the OEM ones that came on the bike. I bought it in 2011 and it had been sitting in a crate since manufacture in late 2007. So my guess is the tyres were old. I should have checked the date code on them but they only had 1500 miles on them. When they used the bead breaker it tore right through the sidewall. My guess is they had just hardened up really bad.

Sounds like they had aged very badly
