Looking for some Akras and see a website selling Evos. The add says this...
KTM Akrapovic Titanium Evolution Silencers
990 Superduke 2005-2006 [ EC approved ]
also suitable 2007-2012 models [ no EC certificate ]
What does this mean and why is there a difference? Are they road legal for the UK?
Cheers

I think there was just a change in the law regarding silencers on bikes, and the fact that baffles must not be user removable to conform... I could be wrong...
Sorry to hijack your thread, but I'm selling an Akrapovic Full System and thought I'd share with you on the off chance. It's a year old, done 1100 miles and never seen rain. Perfect condition.

i believe one set has a small cat where the muffler joins the 'Y' piece.
looking at this again im not sure i answered right. what i said was true of course with the set Leeroybrown01 posted above, but Akrapovic offered 2 diff styles, the Evos pictured above and a round set (in crossection)
