Looking at some Leo Vince or Yoshimura cans, what ones would be the quietest with db's killers removed? Don't want to
annoy the neighbours too much.

Is there much difference in the sound between them?

And what about build quality are they a match for each other?
Cheers.

Not sure about the yoshis, but the Leo cans on my bike are pretty loud with the quiet baffles removed... As in loud enough to drive me crazy unless I wear earplugs on a ride. I'm sure the neighbors aren't too thrilled either. I just got the bike and have not had a chance to put the baffles in, hopefully there is a noise reduction. Good luck

I was thinking the Yoshi's would be louder without the baffles than they are,,,I like them but Mivv's or a set of Graves cans would have been louder,,, Yoshi customer service is great and I was assured a replacement can if needed would arrive within a week,,,,

I'm running Leo Vince carbon cans..I love them..
I DO perfer the look of the Mivvs though..
The Yoshi's are great...cheaper..and probably
as Maddog said..Parts are more readily available..
Always are some coming up on here or Flebay..
I got my Leo's from a fellow S.D.er from the site..
Just about anything is better than the boat anchor
stock muffler..

never heard yoshi's in person, but +1 to the carbon leo's being annoyingly loud without the baffles. Rolling it at a steady RPM through town just resonates thru my helmet, giving me a headache. IMO, the db killers seem to kill more of the low frequency and the pipes still have a nice bark with the inserts in, can still be pretty loud.

I thought my Yoshi's sounded pretty loud... Maybe I will have to buy something louder in the future

For me the original cans are great, they fit the bike perfectly and the noise is not obnoxious, like most aftermarket cans.

Riding without db killers would put me into shame....

We live in modern times, noise could make people sick.

Here in Germany we start to have some sort of "anti bike culture", residents, living near strong frequented motorcycle roads are tired and angry and TV and papers are contributing to this circumstance by providing "nice" reports.

Loud pipes = emotional horsepower + less land to ride.

In my neck of the woods you gain negative points with the cops for being an ASS. The cops want to remove the ASS drivers / riders from the roads. They chisel away at the points against your license until you don't have one. The drunks are riding around on pedal bikes. So are a lot of ASS drivers. Big negative points given for riding / driving on sidewalks.

A bud of mine likes to thumb his nose at the cops. He found out he could do a smokey burnout in a downtown parking lot with out getting a ticket, so he did so with the cops within sight. The cops could not give him a ticket because of privet property.
The cops waited for any slip up they could find to teach him a lesson. The caught him on a side walk with his car and he found out it was a huge fine.

Ass man is such an easy target that just rubs me wrong. Sorry bout it tho....

Someone else carry on with him I am really done with him this time.

I was told a story about how the Cali desert riders took care of the young ass holes and their bikes who were stepping out of line in their riding area.

The old gray backs drew straws on who was going to cut the AH's spark plug wire off at the coil.
