Slippery Footpegs

I find the standard footpegs a bit slippery.
Has anyone sourced some knurled grippy replacement footpegs yet?
I dont want to get rearsets just yet due to cost.

Jmann was making some, be very very nice to him!
I guess the PPtuning replacement ones could be made to fit and you can buy them as spares. On the 990 I have the PPtuning rearsets, I see if I find the time this weekend to swap the peg.

Just had a look and the PPtuning ones won't fit without making an adapter.
The footpeg fitting on the 1290 is pretty much like most dirtbikes. Measure the gap and have a look in dirtbike sections or for the ADV, probably the same.

I've read about the slippery footpegs a few times now, has anyone got a measurement with verniers of the peg part in mm that the pin goes through?

I had pivot pegs on my 690 tard and they were bliss. Great grip and they pivot nicely when you feel like a few stand up wheelies and a bit of a stand up stretch on long rides. It's very likely a set of pivot pegs will fit.

Slippery pegs and not being able to turn wheelie control off. Are the only two faults I've found. I know the pegs can be fixed.
I've only put 300 miles on it so far and have not tried the NO traction control yet. But it will be off soon. I like it when I'm powering out of a turn with the front wheel lifting.

Best street bike ever.

Don't know as I don't have one yet but if the pegs are round try a few layers of heat shrink tube around the peg, might have to replace it reasonably regularly but it may stop the slip, used it on a set of Valtermoto rearsets on one of my bikes.

The factory pegs on this bike are the worst. I like the positioning of the pegs just hate the pegs. Anxiously awaiting some aftermarket knurled pegs
