such a lovely bike... Sorry to hear that, hope you get it back. F****n thieves!
Those custom wheels are rare, maybe someone spot it somewhere.

That sucks big time - I hope they catch the bastards and actually give them the beating they deserve. I hate that they don't do anything about blokes stealing peoples prize possessions!
I had a car stollen by a teenager a few years ago and I had to wear all the costs and they got off after writing me a "I'm sorry" letter - what a load of sh1t, they need a bad enough beating so they can remember their pain whenever they get tempted to touch someone else's stuff. The world has gone soft
Good luck mate, I hope you have some luck. Where are you located?

I'm visiting few forums and there is no week without information about bike being stolen. The encouraging factor is that thieves perfectly know they are unpunished at most of the occasions. If you catch and spank the f****r you may end up in jail and he go away free. This is sad...

There was a lad up in court in London a couple of years back. He and his m8s were on a bike stealing crime wave. I just hoped that his pic being out there meant a biker gang such as HL or Outcasts got there hands on him and gave him the same treatment they give paedos.

Having your property stolen truly sucks; I’m sure everyone that sees this thread commiserates with you.
Being analytical bastards I’m sure that there is a need to understand the circumstances. Where did this happen? Was the bike tucked away in a garage? Was the garage locked and was it broken into? What could have been done differently to prevent this or at least make it less a target?

I would guess that this was either done by professionals that would understand the need for speed and a getaway plan, the processing of the bike quick to follow. Or, this was done by amateurs that may hold the bike for a while reveling in the trophy.

I think that telling you what you should have done will not make you feel any better.

I will tell you that I have learned. I can only take steps to slow down someone that is determined, and to draw attention to the act so that there is a better chance of witnesses. I cannot totally stop a theft but I can make my property a less desirable target.

Best wishes to you and maybe getting your bike back.

If the time for crime was a lot harsher you would not need to go to all the hassles of anti theft BS plus insurance would be cheaper.
Back in the 80s some scum stole my uninsured RD 250 LC
