Hi there,

noticed a 2005 SD 'recovered' up for auction at the Manheims auction here in Brisbane. Doesn't look too damaged from the theft (bars a bit busted from when the steering lock was broken I reckon, so will need a new barrel/key combo, only a couple hundred), and still appears to have the key (prob from original owner after the theft), so maybe wasn't thrashed about too much by the theives.

Does have 50K on it though, so likely a bit tired. But thought I'd mention it if any of you guys are looking for a project.

for you guys in the UK, there are plenty of bikes Cat D write off from the recent floods, also saw a 2015 1290 go for 4500 worth a shot even if is turned into a track toy for just over 5k repaired you can't go wrong

Interesting Jacko, whereabouts would one look to find these "flood-damaged" bikes?

google search 'salvage auction', Copart appears to be one of the largest sites, quite a few 15/16 models being auctioned the other day
