So is the consensus on tail tidys the R&G? Man for the US thats over $200 on some sites. I see the EVO on motovationusa but does not take OEM blinkers. I dont mind the PP one but the R&G is definitely a better looking fit. any other brands I missed on the search?

I just cant imagine spending $250 for a tail tidy and like the Evo Tech having to add aftermarket blinkers. guess i will just have to use some double sided velcro

Or you can make your own. I did mine out of simple angel iron and a drill. Helps that I did the integrated tail light so I didn't have to worry about blinkers.

I have made my own in the past. If the new sdr comes out with the integrated tail then this will be a no brainer

I specked R&G. It's tighter in and looked better than the KTM version I thought.

Is there nothing for the 1290 from Rizoma? They were the only worthwhile one for the previous 990 models.

Still be $200 +, I would imagine

I ordered mine direct from Evotech in the UK. It shipped last week. Just waiting for it to arrive. Looks like they use Royal Mail in the UK. Once the package gets to the USA it gets handed off and becomes untrackable from what I can tell so far. I think it needs to be signed for too. So hopefully I will get the shipment sometime this week.

I did not have to sign for the package. Arrived today.

Just some clarification, does the Evotech fit the oem taillight and turn signals for U.S. spec bikes? Also, someone mentioned our turn signals are not LED as the Euro spec ones are. I looked on the KTM USA site and they didn't look any different than the Euro models. May just have been universal marketing pics. Any help on these items would be appreciated. Thanks

The US spec are not LED but the mounts are the same.

Got the Evotech product today. It really is very sturdy and very well designed. Quality is top notch. The only issue I had is that the wires from the turn signals seemed to be a little bit short. Not sure if this is an issue with the USA models or not. The two white connectors just barely exited the tail tidy housing and they end up about half in and half out of the hole to the storage space in the tail where they ideally should be inside of the storage space. And there is a little pressure of the tail tidy structure pushing on those connectors. I may take it back apart and see what I can do. The wire from the license plate light was plenty long enough.

Bottom line is everything is plug and play and it all works well and looks great. I guess it is pricey but you get a very high quality product and I am very happy with how it turned out.

The directions online are the best I ever have seen. Really clear.
