Hiya all
I have a 2006 superduke with a problem - wonder if anyone has any ideas
She wont idle, stalls at junctions - even sometimes stalls when changing gear
At high speeds revs start rising, almost like a slipping clutch
F code comes up
SOMETIMES trying a 15min reset helps, but often she wont idle for that long
Been into dealers - clutch checked, thrust race replaced ( and sprag upgrade done at the same time )
On their computor the F code is for the TPI sensor
They have cleaned it and it APPEARED to resolve - for about an hour )
In fairness the service manager was pretty disgusted that it would cost that much to resolve and suggested sourcing some 2nd hand
Have seen a couple on ebay, but I could get stuck as piggy in the middle
Is there anyway round this that anyone can suggest ?
Many thanks in advance

I was able to order the TPS separate from the throttle bodies. I believe it was around 100-150 USD. I bought it at a dealer (they had to order) but it was very readily done. I forgot where I found the part number. I think it was from a 990 adventure though

Dealers are fooking lazy *****! Tell them to look on the fiche for the 08 bike and its listed on there. Shouldn't need owners to sort that out it really shouldn't. I had to change my TPS twice on my old 06 SD in 50k miles. First time around 40k with symptoms like yours and second time at 49k when the TPS wouldn't give a reading below 45% and so the bike refused to start.

Replacing whole TB 'cos have fault codes on TPS and both injectors for the first time @ circa 65k miles.

I managed to find TpI listed seperately in the US - but it was for a carbed Adventure
