Looking for new tyres for 1290 track orientated or street legal track tyre. Here's my sort list in reasonable price (less expensive top):
Conti Race Attack Comp
Pirelli DRC
Bridgestone Battlax-003 RS
Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V2 SP
Dunlop GP Racer D211
Anyone have real life experience of these? I believe all are more then adequate. Some have different compounds available.

I'd replace the D211 with D212. The 1290 will rip that 211 to bits! Then that is probably the correct list in price and grip offered.

The 211 can just deal with the 990 if it's not too hot. Otherwise it rips it up between the middle and outer tread. No way it will cope with 1290 grunt if you are doing a decent pace. Shame as it's not a bad tyre. Out of that list I'd go with the supercorsa. I'll be honest though and admit I've not tried the Bridgestone or Conti.

Dont have tyre warmers. Heating problem?

No they are all road tyres so just take it easy for a couple of laps and get some heat in them. How hot is it where you ride?

Try the supercorsa SC2 on the front and SP on the rear. Good combo for grip and wear.

First set is SP. Price gap DRC vs. SP is €31 both front + rear. If wear is too much fo my wallet then DRC.

Im very fond of the bridgestone bt003 R/S. Had it on my tuono. Grip is similar to Pirelli Supercorsa SP v2, but shorter warm up time and better wet grip. Durability is also similar. The big difference between the two is the profile shape, where the Pirelli has a much more pronounced profile which makes for easier turn in. The conti tyre i did not like because it takes too long to warm up. I had several almost accidents while riding with Conti tyres on, and Im never risking those again.

Thanks oczer. BT003 RS was second in my thought. Good to know Conti sucks cos couldnt find any info. Any experience Metzeler Racetech Interact? Price is reasonable. I have understood Metzeler come from same factory than Pirelli

The Dunlop 211's are sport street and track tyres, something similar to the Pirelli Dragon's, but they are a more modern tyre, with sportier looks ans ride. Very good option if you want a tyre to do trackdays apart from street riding.
The 212's are more track focused and more or less, the best threaded track tyre you can get. On the plus side, they provide extraordinary grip compared to any other threaded tyre on the market. However, they are not suited for everyday road riding. They don't have grip when they are cold and you need to be extra cautious on that.
One more thing, the 212's are very sensitive to the tarmac temperature. Each time you get to the track, you need to have the appropriate compound based on the track conditions, otherwise -especially the rear- will get destroyed pretty quickly.
So, if you are just a hobbyist taking to the track in the amateur group, the 211s are the best option. In case you are more serious about the track riding, get the 212's and you will have extra fun.
Tyre warmers are a must for the 212, and seriously nice to have for any sport track and road tyre.
I ve tested quite a lot of tyres in the past (except for the Bridgestones) and the Dunlops are, hands down, the best you can have.

I can't speak for the race compound from conti that you are using but the street tyre i did not like. I think it was the continental sport attack 2. The Conti tyre spoken of in that review is a race compound as well. My understanding was that he was looking for a trackday / street tyre.
