Well, after a week I haven't been out on the Superduke. The widowmaker is that much fun!

Spent a lot of time doing short blasts then back to the garage to sort out loose bits, setting up suspension, (well, jacking the back up to the hardest pre-load, it's all you can do), chopping plugs, checking oil consumption. Steering head bearings were well loose which didn't help at first but now all sorted and it handles way better than I ever remembered them doing. Managed to get both sides of exhaust down so tyres are really not that bad. Brakes still shit but getting better, I think the pads were new and not even bedded in. Doing a lot of posting on the various triples site and getting a lot of help for any questions I have.

Petrol consumption is something else. I went through a tank full in 50 miles!!! I'll work it out but at the moment I think its in the mid 20-30 miles to the gallon.

This is what mirrors are for!
