Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum, but...
Right after Xmas, I ordered the top-block frame sliders (crash bungs) for my 990 SD. about 3 weeks later, after harassing the company, I get a tracking number that says my package is in Charles de Gaulle. Fast forward to last week and its still there. So I called Top-Block, no reply, and disputed the charges on PayPal. Now Top-Block is telling me my stuff is trapped in US Customs, and Customs says they cannot track my package.
So, has anyone here in the US ordered from Top-Block, and how did you get your stuff?

Ahhhhh ... Another man about to be screwed by PayPal ...
Did you try the (supposed) US vendor?

I wouldn't e-mail them ... I would however pick up the phone, describe the problem, and see if they might have had some like experience with the manufacturer. Maybe they have an inside contact further up the food chain than the one you dealt with. I've found that most motorcycle part/accessory vendors don't mind speaking with people that have purchased a product brand that they represent - even if they didn't sell it to you. If for no other reason than goodwill, which does occasionally lead to sales in future.
Good luck, and while I have always thought those look trick, I was deterred as spares may be tricky to get ... If the deal doesn't work out, I have personally - ahem - "tested" these, and replacement bits are proven only a phone call away: http://www.motovationusa.com/mvstore/Sc ... tegory=177
I've "tested" their upper and lower frame sliders, front and rear axle sliders, and universal bar ends. Let's just say they are worth every penny. I use this brand where available for the model, on all my bikes.

French Customs made a $4000.00 Carbon fibre road race bike of mine vanish... They even fessed up to it... although USPS would only reimburse me $500.00
I refuse to deal with France anymore for that reason.

Oof, that sucks.
In othernews, Murph from Murph Kits says he will order them for us 990 owners, and if there seems to be a good interest, he'll even stock a few for orders.
