From memory and google maps
Santander to Burgos to logrono to Pamplona. Then follow n240 to Jaca. From Jaca follow n260 to Biescas, fiscal, campo and eventually Sort. Amazing roads and very technical, we then followed on to seu d'urgell and then up through Andorra and then France up to Roscoff in Brittany. TBH the french bit was crap.
We didn't book any hotels but always found somewhere to sleep.
Those Spanish roads were AMAZING though. The first road out of Santander to Burgos, just climbs and climbs with great surfaces. Massive speeds on lots of the roads, long sweepers, hairpin after hairpin. Brilliant
Damn now I want to go back..

Iv'e bee a couple of times and it is awesome, the distances look short on the map but it's that twisty they take twice as long as you think. I personally thought the Spainish side was best with the exception of Col de Tourmalet and Col de Aspan (excuse spelling) which are must do roads.
Enjoy!

best riding i have ever done. Thanks for all the tips, especially "brokenleggedbiker" , pretty much followed that route all the way up to andorra. we came out the top of andorra on the french side and quickly got back to the spanish side as the road surfaces in spain were amazing. We eventually made it down to the med to a place called Blanes after doing the 365 coast road. was a gas, we arrived at the beach all kitted up, straight into shorts and for a swim in the ocean. Being south african it was the cherry on the cake to be in the sea again.
Had one breakdown, one of the front cylinder manifold bolts snapped whilst at quite high altitude, i was like "oh fook", managed to drift down to "el pont de seurt" , called breakdown and a cool spanish dude arrived within the hour. followed him to his garage and after about an hour managed to free the snapped bolt. replaced with new and we were on our way , thank fook for that.
One thing i loved is that the spanish do love the KTM's, met some cool spanish riders on adventurers who we rode with for half a day.
All in all, an an absolutely awesome trip. The duke really came into its own with the amount of torque, it was like she was made for those roads.
Anyhow some pics to enjoy.

We did 1300klm over two nights from Brisbane down to Grafton then through to Dorrigo and home. Was for sure one of the best weekends of my life. Great roads, great sights, great company!

Glad you had a great time over there and glad to have helped a little bit in making it better for you. I was there in 08 on a Tuono so had the same grunty v-twin it was awesome for the trip. Superduke would've been better though...
That road out of Santander up into the mountains was ace for me, had a great race with a local in his seat cupra r. Got to the top of the mountain, nice little nod and wave and we went our seperate ways, awesome memories.
