Triumph is Recalling about 10,000 bikes for a replacement of faulty Rectifiers\Regulators...

http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/recall/ ... 75-recall/

The described faults are quite familiar.. I wonder if they have "Soft 32 Dat 10.1" messages as well...

Makes me wonder, anyone here knows perhaps the rec\reg on on these trumpets is like the one we have on the orange cherry bomb?

About the same time they comp us for all those water pump parts, or provide with the "magic bullet" FI mapping.

Don't hold your breath.

I have to say that KTM has been excellent with every unit I've owned, dirt or street. My 2007 SD got $2K in warranty/recall work done to it. I've taken dirt bikes in under warranty and had no problem.

Maybe I'm lucky.

BTW, my "08 SD is mapped perfect. No shite. No snatch, no jerk, perfect. I can ride 20 MPH in first gear with one hand on the bars, it's that smooth. Like a Goldwing! Looks like I got the "Golden Superduke"!
