I am in the process of rounding up some titanium bolts, started off buying the same ones Kev used (front & rear disc brake rotor bolts) when changing the speedo correction rings, not worried too much about doing the engine bolts at this stage
I know the weight reduction overall is not that huge, not looking at building a big $ race bike but it will clean it up a bit & reduce a bit of weight as an advantage, I have found a few different sources including an online parts fiche to confirm the correct sizes

Using this site to check OEM>

This site lists a few>

I was going to mention the Pro Bolt site but I did not want to scare anyone with those prices, you can buy the exact same titanium bolts for a fraction of the price on ebay, all you are paying for is the tiny bit of work they have done to work out which bolts go where & a brand name, for example the engine bolt kits are $902 + postage (for me to buy in Australia) which includes 65 bolts, thats over $15 per bolt, waaaaay over the top I think

I am just going to go through & buy the main bolts I can find here & there & replace them for much less than Pro Bolt prices
Going to attack the unsprung weight areas next then the frame etc etc

I have to agree with your sentiments SDIO - for $15/engine bolt they'd have to be made from gold (not light and probably has rubbish tensile strength) or some serious unobtanium.
Hopefully by going shopping with your list you'll get sorted for considerably less than $902+P&P.
Happy shopping

Yeah didnt even factor that in, the tiny little engine bolts should be much cheaper than the larger M6 M8 & M10 etc bolts
The list as is above so far cost about $177 delivered, honestly could not be bothered weighing it all as I go, would like to weight the whole bike though when I get more done

Major weight drop so far>

Decat & fit custom BMW S1000RR Akrapovic muffler, should weigh that just for curiosity, pretty damm lightweight exhaust, easily 3000g drop
Lithium SSB battery 4591g down to 1100g, 3491 drop
Pillion pegs n mounts, gone Pass Pegs and left bracket 773g + right exhaust bracket say 200g? = 973g drop maybe
SAS, gone 476g
Pillon seat changed to carbon Racefoxx 882g down to 250g maybe?
Just about to receive a Rottweiler airfilter setup, 1558g down to 980g, 578gm weight drop just there

Whoa just added it all up & thats around an 8.5kg weight reduction just in that list without adding in any weight reduction from the titanium bolts, I think quite a bit more weight can be cut here n there also

Edit: added pilion seat to carbon change, puts it just over 9kg (9150g)

That's an interesting list of weight savings, down to 1g resolution, like it.
As a matter off interest, how much do you weigh yourself? Not trying to appear impertinent but you'll often see a Gixxer (or similar) that's been subjected to a radical weight-saving regime, which is then somewhat nullified when 120kg of lard parks itself on the seat to ride it....

There is a thread that lists the weight of a lot of parts down to the gram so someone else has done the work there

Very common reply on weight reduction....go & do a poo, but the poo is never ending & keeps coming back
I am around 100kg myself so yeah, working on weight reduction for me & my bike, it is winter here in Aus at the moment which does not help, easy to throw money at the bike for weight reduction but weight reduction on yourself can be harder for some
