Can in the arse

Here is what you do about the can in the arse, take the 2 hoses off of the can, take the can out of the arse---(never to return).

Reroute the hoses carefully back through the frame and either between the cylinders or up high above the rear cylinder.

Take them to the left side of the bike (clutch slave cylinder side) and route them beside the other venting hoses from the fuel tank and so forth,

down to the bottom of the bike, the one that stands out is the big clear airbox water drain hose, (looks like aquarium hose). just follow the hoses

make the 2 new ones be with thare brothers and sisters, be sure to zip-tie (secure) them so the do not droop down into the exhaust,

making sure to not kink the hoses. (important to leave these 2 new additions to the others "vented").

This charcoal canister (can) is for purposes of venting the fuel vapors into the atmosphere with the least effect on ozone depletion.

Sorry bout that rick, I had people asking and did not have time this week for much at all, I will need to relocate my can in the arse, then to take pics is a

futile attempt to say-------> see this, it is the hose, thare are 2 of them, they go to the ground.

I need to gain some photo shop skills to accentuate my lack of communication abilities,

as pugwash has always lead the way with tricky drawings on the pictures.

joe is just no techno wizard, but believe me I am trying hard to get thare.

I will use a baby bottle and some masking tape to highlight the hoses, just be patient with me.

this is the can in her arse, it is off of my R-1100-S BMW so it is not the exact one but close...

here is the route I ran one of the hoses, see it just behind the grey electrical connector on the rear cylinder, the other had to go in front of the side cover...

Then the final verdict is...they exit at the bottom of the bike's engine. 2 hoses no kinks secured with zip-ties to hold them in place.
