Well...
I've had it in 3 times for fuel leaks...Also the tank is swelling...
Got me some nice carbon bits yesterday from Adam...Went to remove my tank shrouds
which I've had off several times..Fook...The right side tank mount bung came out
of the tank..!!!! Geez..!!!!!!!!! Now what.??????? I DO have the 5 year warrantee
on the bike but will they cover that.???? I'm sooooo bummed...and I don't get it why
it came loose...Anyone have any problems like this ..and what should I do.??? I SURELY
can't afford a tank...

J B Weld would be at the top of my list, to hold it in.

If your tank is leaking get KTM to replace it under warranty. Don't let them tell you no!

If it's not leaking, you're going to have to repair it yourself. Get some good quality 5 minute epoxy. That will surely do the trick.

I've kept my tank nuts from pulling out or leaking by using only the amount of torque necessary to hold the fairing panels on. Doesn't take much.

They've fixed it 3 times already...
Not 100% leak proof..but..barely leaking
at all now...
I'd lost a fairing bolt/washer 3 weeks ago...
Ordered some replacements..even got the part numbers
to make sure I get the correct ones...
The bolts are just about an 1/8" longer...
Seems it bottomed out in the bung nut and was too tight..
Removing it just was not gonna happen...until the
nut popped out...
I got me some JB Weld from my drawer and added a few
file grooves on the side of the nut to aid in glue grip...
Waiting now...Had to force it back in and put plenty of
JB Weld on the nut too...Seems to be holding...
Hope this takes care of the problem permanantly..
I really don't want to opt for the stealer...
