Hi Guys

Does anyone here know if there is a link detailing what is involved fitting a DNA Mk3 filter (including breathers SAS etc)? There is so much info on this site I have looked for ages and found nowt!

I thought detailed instructions are included with the kit?

Otherwise, just search for the motohooligan motobox instructions.

Are you fitting the air box above the OEM lower box, or are you going to remove the whole OEM air box?

Here is some photos for you of mine.

You can fit the air box above your OEM air box base if you want, I removed my OEM air box completely with the DNA airbox.

Thanks for the info guys
I have yet to buy the kit but wanted to know what was involved! What is the purpose of the SAS system and what is the point of removing it?
Also, if i go down the Dynojet route, what is the deal with the O2 sensor, if the kit comes from the USA and the eliminator is not included?

Cheers

Get yourself a tuneECU cable and disable O2 sensors in the ECU. No need for eliminators then.
The sas is there to lower the emissions of the bike.
Just get a couple of SAS plates () and also disable SAS in Tune ECU (it's called SAE in the program). How to remove the SAS is also explained in the Motobox installation manual.

Does the sas system affect performance then?

Millar does make nice ones. Don't hold your breath though. I've been waiting 3months on him making some up.

Think I'm just gonna get plain lank ones from ebay. Won't look as good buy will do the job.

Motohooligan does blanking plates too. They have his logo on.

I've emailed him every month since the 6th November.

It's no big deal. I'll go elsewhere. Just quite liked the black ones he does with the KTM logo.
