Fitment of Battletwins bellypan

I've got some race glass for the SDR and I'm just fitting the belly pan. Obviously the Superduke doesn't have mounting points for the rear of the belly pan as the original chin spoiler doesn't need them.

Any hints re securing the rear of the belly pan? I've had a squizz and there's nothing obvious - not even if I make a bracket...

I think it's gonna be abit problematic because that thing is going to vibrate like a hitachi magic wand.

My 990s both have bellypans on them and they're fixed at the rear with an aluminium bracket to the frame on either side - unfortunately both bikes are in storage ahead of a house move at the moment so I'm unable to photograph the fixings for you.

The lower foot rest hanger bolt looks a likely target for a fixing.
Could even just use a length of bracket strip, or 2 sections of it.
I searched for "Exhaust Perforated Metal Strip Mounting Brackets"

and this sort of thing came up

Cheers gents.

I reckon the footpeg brackets are the best choice. Not sure if I prefer the look of the chin spoiler over the belly pan, so this might be just for track use...

See here - viewtopic.php?f=8&t=20943&hilit=Bellypan - re Replicast bellypan rear mounts.

As standard, rhs fixing uses a long shallow z-profile bracket bolted to rearsets, just visible in photos - as standard, lhs fixing is to sidestand mount, assumed to be removed but can be same as rhs.

I fitted an extra carbon heat shield to my S2R1000 exhaust with a couple special clamps made just for securing to exhaust pipes. They are very solid and should hold the belly pan on nice and tight at the rear just where the two exhaust headers are. They are kind of hard to find since coming up with the proper Google search term is sometimes a waste of time, but here is something I did find, http://www.elineaccessories.com/ecommer ... eld-1.html
