Evening all
I've had the Rottweiler airbox fitted and custom mapped by Projex. The bike goes like a rocket but the map hasn't smoothed out the throttle at low revs. My fault as I didn't tell Kev to tune for smoothness over absolute power. I'm therefore thinking about a throttle tube to replace the sloppy stock version and a different cam. My question is, do I need to re map the FI after fitting the tube and cam?
Am I right in thinking that there is a barrel adjuster to alter the slack cable at the throttle body end and can this be altered without buggering up the FI settings?
Cheers
Lowrance

No need to re-map after throttle tube installation nd yes there is a barrel adjuster on the throttle cable...somewhere. Been a while since I installed mine and adjusted the cable.

Do keep us posted if you do the throttle tube. I need to smooth out my SDR too. I'm going to take the smog kit off and re-map first.

I fitted the RC8 progressive throttle grip set to mine at the same time as fitting the hard parts slipper clutch and it has smoothed out the throttle response no end.......
