Help with oil leak

'06 SuperDuke 11k miles

When I picked up the bike with 10k miles there was an oil residue near the back of the battery box or front of ignition cover. During the initial clean up there was also oil onthe center of the countershaft sprocket. I've cleaned it thoroughly and hadn't noticed it until the last couple of rides.

I replaced exhaust and air box two weekends ago, and have ridden approx 300 miles since. This past weekend I noticed a drip when parking. Looking at the leaks, they appear the same places that I saw leaks when I first bought. So, here are the questions after reading a bunch of threads:

A) could these leaks be due to increased crankcase pressure from the installation of the Rottweiler air box and rerouting of the breather tube and check valve? (the tube appears smooth, with no kinks)

B) If not, it appears that it is the stator cover and the countershaft seal. Do you confirm?

I need to order parts and start repairs quickly, as I have a track day in about 2.5 weeks... so any help I can get to make sure I order the correct parts and make the repair right the first time are much appreciated!

I think you need to look at your CC breather set-up. Looks like you've got excessive crank case pressure forcing oil out of every possible orfice.

Edit....did you oil the air filter? If so, is it possible you over oiled it? I over oiled my K&N in my Motobox once and ended up with fair amount of oil residue in some of the areas you show in the photos.

removed the check valve from the breather hose and installed a secondary breather element on the line... removed any restriction on that system, I would guess, but the oil leaks are still present. Also strangely had the oil fill cap leak after topping up? Stopped after I tightened it REALLY well... but still suprising.

So now I'm planning to order some gaskets and a countershaft seal and try a reseal on it... I guess I'm used to Japanese bikes... because my 70k mile VFR never wants anything... but the 10k mile KTM wants some attention? Oh well... the Tuono wasn't too different.
