High speed twitchiness

I am sure most of you are familiar with the slightly twitchy feel of the SD at high speed (anything up and over the ton)....it doesn't bother me all that much, but will a steering damper help at all to cure this?

..and, if not...since I know people mount them, what is the general purpose of a steering damper on an SD?

...and do the Scott type dampers do anything for a street bike?

The Dyno at race tech is a Shock dyno. used to measure suspension components, off the bike.
There are a few good dyno tuning guys around So. Cal.
I used Mikey Cohen motorsports in Placentia. He has done a few SDs of guys on this board.
About 250 for a custom map. and if you make any more mods and want to have it mapped again it is 150 dollars
