Follow the two cables from the grip throttle, about 10 cm away is a rubber cover, under which is some adjustment for the throttle to tighten it up, you need a 10 or 8mm spanner if I recall.

Make sure your grips are free to spin back without fouling the bar end too.

Great will do... seen those adjusters before on other cables... Think these may be replacments, don't remember seeing any!! Hope i'M wrong I see the throttle is contolled by the throttle bodies etc. I took the headlight off, could this have affected the temp sensor and effected the throttle???? The plug may be loose???

The adjustment is only on the send cable and not return. Don't sorry this is normal.

I've had this several times when changing bars, for me every time all I've had to do is fiddle with the headlight mask to make sure that the throttle cables aren't being restricted where they pass by the mask and down into the underbelly of the beast

worth a shot

Is this a duplicate thread? I thought I'd answered this?
