Thanks guys. I'll head to the servo now and try and find some.

They are cheapies. And I will admit when I bought FP's the Daytona I didn't have any problems.

But I did try and ou the old lever back on and the problem is still there. So can only assume its now the lever but something that has occurred during fitting.

Surely if only changing the levers, then it wouldn't need bleeding, as the system hasn't been "broken" into.

I take it that the little plunger is still there?

A friend of mine recently bought some cheap chinese leavers and did a trackday at Cadwell, his brake came on on Park straight which was not good, the bike came to halt with no rider input!

Long story short after ALOT of faffing bleeding brakes it was the levers that caused it.

I bet if you put the OEM one back on they will work fine.

His story was enough for me never to buy Chinese levers on something SO important.

Something got missed when you
swapped out the levers...
I've changed levers twice..
Both sets to cheap Chinese levers
and have not had one problem...
Eventually had to replace the
slave cylinder but can't be that
from just swapping out levers..
Gotta be something with the
plunger ...You said you swapped
back to stock levers and was the
same...
Maybe you can take some pics
and post them up for us to see
if something is missing.???

Thanks everyone for the commentS. We got the clutch bled and running perfectly this morning before the ride.

A note on the chinese levers. The fit was perfect and they are great quality. The problem was in fact something I did which out of fear of embarrassment I'm not going to disclose haha. Let's just say working on your bike lacking sleep, with a couple of drinks under your belt and limited experience is not a good idea

Sorry,
Still disturbed by the ATF suggestion.

I think they recommend using Magura Blood because Magura makes the clutch Master, etc.

I have no doubt that ATF works. So would water but I wouldn't recommend using it.
ATF has a lot of things in it that wouldn't go well in your crankcase.
The possibility of contaminating the crankcase is one of the reasons that mfg went the mineral oil route.
I suppose ATF would do less damage than brake fluid though.
