Hello,

I did an oil change myself for my SuperDuke 2007. I bought this kit KTM Part Number: 00050000065

http://www.ktmtwins.com/ktm-950-990-lc8 ... filter-kit

In the kit, there was the filter, screen and new seal. However, after finishing installing all the part, I still have one Copper Seal Ring. I have install a new one on both drain plug (bottom of the engine and the oil tank). I am not sure where It goes. Do you have any advice?

Also, as per the oil screen (the one in the oil tank) does it have a special position to put it?

Thank you very much for the advice, and if you have other advice about oil change let me know!

Thank you

Hmmmm ... as that kit is somewhat "generic", maybe that extra copper 'seal' may be needed for another model (?). As far as I know, you installed the only 2 needed SuperDuke replacement 'seals'.

Not sure I understand the part about the oil tank screen ... Put the tank oil screen back the same as it was. As long as the screen basket is up in the tank (no other way to install it really ...) - you're good. The (axial) orientation of the screen doesn't matter.

Hi SDnerd,

Thank you for you quick reply.

This is OEM kit from KTM for oil service.

As per the oil screen, you got it, I was curious about the orientation.

Thank
