Hello,

My buddy Mark, who is an old timer with no internet access, asked me to get the oil level tube for his 2007 SD. Since I'm purchasing the Oil Filter Service Kit for my 08, I said what the heck, should be easy. Is the part number OIL LEVEL GLASS 59030019100 KTM Part Number: 59030019100 ? I thought it was plastic tubing not glass.

I cannot get a clear picture in the online microfiches of ktmtwins.com or ktm-parts.com.

Thank you for your time,

Nope. It's P/N 61038084000.

You ("Mark" - uh huh ... ) will also need:

Qty. 4 of the crush washers (0603082121)

Qty. 2 of the banjo bolts (58038029000)

Not knowing what color bike you, er "Mark" has: You could easily have downloaded:

http://www.ktm-parts.com/pdf/KTM2007/20 ... SA_BLK.pdf

and used Adobe Acrobat's (the reader is free ... ) zoom feature, to clearly see the "OIL RISING PIPE" ...

That's not the part. I'm out the door right now so can't search it however IMHO you're better off just getting a length of fuel line tubing (RC applications) and cutting to fit. It's more pliable and less likely to crack... and a helluva lot cheaper.

Nerd,

Thank you so much!.

My bike is an 08 Black. Mark's bike is an 07 orange.

I bought mine in January with 5k miles, he rode it for 30 minutes, loved it and got himself an 07 with 13k miles. His bike was advertised here and it was for sale in SC.

Part numbers should be the same for 07 and 08 for that thing right?
