I made a tool to replace the oil pressure switch on my 2004 KTM 950 Adventure which uses the same basic LC8 motor and motor mounts as the SuperDuke.
The switch lives on the back side of the front cylinder. The book way to replace the switch will have you remove the air box.

Cool... So what's your clever way of getting the water temperature sensor (the one in the block) in and out? Best I have been ever
able to do is a highly chopped socket but the chop is a very complicated shape.

Don't tell me that's the next to go bad? I do have a special drawer with custom tools. A bent up wrench comes to mind for my 1993 SAAB 900 alt that lives next to the fire wall.

Comrade PAULO749: It could be one of these 60038091100 but it would be in the parts manual for your year and model.
