/ my speedo needs to be replaced but i dont wnt my miles to change. is the amount of miles shown on the speedo saved in the ecu so i can just swap the speedo and keep my low mileage? would hate to go from 4,000 miles to 12,000 miles because of some gauge i found on ebay.

I heard from a tech at KTM that they speedo's can be reset.
If you brought both they would probably oblige you change.
I would think twice about a used speedo, You have to wonder why its not keeping track of mileage anymore.
If it is a reputable source, then by all means. All others, let the buyer be aware.
As a sad extra, mine just crapped out on my last ride. The speed jumps all over the place and if the BGC does not fix it, I will go to a regulator swap out check and then to the speedo as a last measure.
Have you had a diagnosis of the situation or are you at the WTF stage also?
