Went for a ride today and noticed every so often the speedo and all the other digital readouts would lose some of the bars in the numbers. For example...id be going 45 mph..but half the numbers (digital lines) would disappear, I couldnt read any of the numbers...portions would be missing. It wasnt just the mph...it was also the odometer numbers. Any suggestions? Some times the numbers were fine..other times half the numbers were missing (not visible).

What year is the bike. I'm only asking as I'm pretty sure they brought out a more resilient speedo as the first batch seemed to go doolally from water ingress

KTM has problems with the dashboards, I think they'll change it under guarantee.

Doesn't matter the year, they'll normally change it for free...

Well i contacted the only certified KTM tech/dealer in Ohio. He called KTM America customer service, and they are not going to replace my speedo, theres no way I'm going to pay $400 + install for a new one. Anyone got one they wanna sell or have an idea of alternative speedo that would work?

Any modifications needed to the plastic housing where the original one goes?
