had my sd for 4 years now
got used to the twitchy stuff and always had this its annoying but fun attitude to it
so recently the clutch cyl packed in ,just after i fitted new chain abd sprockets
i think the accurate line up of the slave cyl is paramount
but when you look at it , its a bit low end
re-make the "piston" from steel with a bigger o-ring and tighten up the clearances on the end plate
machine up some stand-offs for the mounting and a huge improvement all round

or buy the oberon part
so with this sorted
i got to thinking about the rest of ot
so ,removed the 2/3 gear wires
result ,it got smoother ,also seems to rev a bit quicker ,tho i can't see why
did the sas eliminator bit
result , makes a huge difference it how it rides ,no more clutching it thru mini roundabouts
looses that hesitation in the on-off traffic situations
removed the secondry flies
more power and more controll ,will run down to 1500 rpm in 5th and pull away without that missing /pinking /shuddering stuff
smoother and faster
next i removed the snorkel from the front of the airbox
more noise but it seems to kill that 4000 rpm ish hoist a monsta point , its still there but over less revs
anyway thats my findings ,next up will probably be tune ECU and all that
unless a set of cans turn up at a good price
so with this in mind ,whats your best cheap mods
