Dear all,

We are always happy to welcome new members but unfortunately we moderators are being overwhelmed by bogus accounts - often well over 100 per day - and sifting through them all to find the 'real' members is no longer a practical option.

So what do you need to do to set up your account?

Well, quite simple really. Set up your account as normal then email your details to [email protected] and we'll activate it for you then let you know when you're ready to rock.

We need;

Your username
Your real name
Your home address (number, street, town, country and post/zip code)
Your phone number


The details you give us will not be used for any other purpose than to confirm your identity and will not be passed on to any 3rd parties.

Postscript by jmann: If your details don't appear bona fide you won't get activated. Personally, I don't activate accounts where the email address is somebody else's or where the address is a commercial premise as this is exactly what a malicious person would do. I also don't activate accounts emanating from camping grounds, car parks, industrial sites, churches Etc.

I've just updated the top post.
After you setup the account, all activation requests should now be sent to [email protected].
One of the mods will activate your account ASAP.

EDIT: If you email your details please supply your username as it is sometimes impossible to find the registration application without it.
None of your personal details are kept or used for anything else except to verify your are genuine and not a spammer.
All information is deleted afterwards!

We DON'T reply to activation emails unless it is absolutely necessary!
If you setup an account and mailed us the requested details the account will be activated in within a day or two.
Don't send angry emails, just log in! If it doesn't work after a few days by all means let us know, errors happen!
