This weekend the KTM Superdukebattle had its first training in Oschersleben
Weather was wonderful, Oschersleben is great
For those who dont know the track, a little vid from me, but with my old R6 back in the year 2008

This year 32 guys and girls take place in the KTM Superdukebattle and it will be a lot of fun

For me it was a very good weekend, too. When I start to drive my Superduke R I told everybody that this bike will be as fast as my R6 - everybody thought Im crazy

My fastest lap with my R6 in oschersleben is a 1:33,84min
My fastest lap with my KTM is now a 1:34,00min
Driven with the 2010 Continental Race Attack, front soft and rear endurance. Im sure with a medium rear tyre I can go faster

I love my KTM

Next weekend is our 1st race - at the Nuerburgring
Maybe with some more photos and hopefully a vid - I totally forgot to record some laps this weekend

@Jody I try to hang off the bike as much as possible. In leftcorners the manifold (I hope this is the correct word) and in right corners the clutchcover is on the ground. I want to go faster, but I cant if I dont hang next to the bike

@gotSD so far I only have a quite slow portimao video with the superduke. Some old r6 videos on youtube. Look for user "Tead222"
Some old Nordschleife videos aswell

@Twisted Jester This guy is a friend of mine and we always have a lot of fun on and off the track. But he doesnt know whats good for him. I tried to get him on a superduke but he's a small pussy and was scared

I dont like right corners

Of course you can do. But I dont know if you'll get an advantage from it Different weight, oil, air cushion etc.

Im using a WP competition suspension which is 3mm longer than the standard 2006er suspension
So the bike gets more *ehhh* manageable (correct word?)
But as we all know the SDR already is, so this is negative for fast laptimes

Now a very important thing to change on a 2008 SD-R
If you take a look at my pictures above you will notice that I changed the.. eh... Fork... ehhhh
In germany its called Gabelbrücke. So maybe forkbridge? Damn..

This is usually black on a SD-R
I changed them to standard 2008
The backlash (again I hope this is the correct word ) is 0.7mm longer compared to the standard SD-R

And this was a very good thing to change on the bike

If you've got questions, just ask

He changed the black "R" triple clamps to standart ones.

Isn't the Super Competition Shock as long as the standart "R" shock??
