ACS only $169 on January 6th. That's right, they've opened up that date for all at that price. No need to drag a noob to get the killer deal.

For ALL you guys who complain about how expensive the trackdays are at ACS (for the best track facilities this side of Miller), this is as good a deal as it gets to ride there.

If you've never done a trackday before, check out Fastrack's Rider Development School. Also a bargain at $85.

- For all you LA/OC/Ventura guys, no having to camp or get a hotel room. But you can camp at the track - for free. There are even showers.

- Less time and distance = less cost.

- Everyone gets paddock space. No wrangling with canopies and what have you.

- There are convenient outlets for tyre warmers, etc. Leave the gen set at home too!

- No gate fees for riders or friends. The price above, is what you pay.

- You roll on the same course the AMA and WERA guys do. And its fast. As fast as you have the stones for. Think you're fast? Roll in the expert group and prepare to be humiliated by past, current, and future professionals. Practicing off-season pros sure to be amongst the attendees.

- As this date is on a Friday, sure to be a more laid-back, good time. Generally few squids and idiots.

- Track has runout everywhere. You pooch a turn - no problem. No mining in the desert. No boulders or cactus to run into.

- And while hope no one ever needs it, best on-site medical support of any track in the West. Two full paramedic crews; clinic on site; and emergency/trauma specialty physician in clinic at all times when track is hot.

Hope to see you out there!

Also still available are 5-packs of trackdays at ACS for 2012. If you live in the area, and frequent the track often, its a good value. The 5-pack offer goes away soon.

Can't see riding that track on an SD being much fun to be honest.

Hey Nerd
sounds cool I don't know that much about ACS I think the RC8 would be better there.I don't have that much saddle time on that bike.I still have to go get it but it will be ready.Just needs new tyres. Are they as lax about turn signals and all the taping.I pretty much stipped the duke down and saw that at chucky I really did not have to. They really did not care that much about it.I really want to try all kinds of tracks for the pure fun and really want to see what the RC8 can do.I do know that bike is way faster than me right now.Thats ok the only way I will get better is to ride it.This track sound like it was made for this bike.I don't care if I am the slowest guy out there at least I am out there right? I don't ride over my head but I do want to go as fast as I think it is safe.My main concerns are my susp set up.sounds like this is a very fast track.I am doing chucky in April unless it is at the same weekend of the river run I sure hope it's not.Chucky is easy for me. I don't know how far Fontana is for me.Thanks for the headsup I sure hope I can do this one.

LOL - people know a good deal when they see one I guess.

There are apparently a couple of Level 1 (novice) spots remaining - but it will have to be called in to register.
