Chris Fillmore scores points for KTM in thier first AMA Superbike race. Worse thing was a scary launch.
Fillmore has had some tough times in the past in Superbike. I think he has figured it out to a certain level.
I have to admit, I sure like seeing a KTM gridded. I think he finnished seventh, which is not bad for a first time out. Hell, I'll change my comment to It's Great.
I only wish they would gear up for Laguna Seca. The West coast is filled with motorcyclists and great riding and tracks. Come on KTM show us some love, we'll get through these tough tymes together. Orange is more prevalent in Ca. than Ohio.
He raced against another new bike on the grid, a Buell riden by a very qualified racer named Geoff May. He finnished 11th. Just maybe we will see a jump in participation from many a manufacture.

A 7th first time out on a new bike and beating a few VERY established teams is awesome.
