Donny is fast and flowing, but faster than I thought. It felt faster than Jerez.
I seldom think "I really do need more power" but I did on Sunday.
I'm in China now, I will try and type up a fuller report soon.

Arrived at Donington on Sunday to find a glorious sunny day! This was my 7th Dry trackday this year ( seventh heaven? )
The track is great and in superb condition, the new group has done a great job of getting this up to scratch. There are a few patched up bits but none caused a problem in the dry. The pit area is still in good nick but the access roads are still crap. Really glad its back on the calendar though.
I would say that Donington is a bit too fast for the Superduke but still fab fun, I had a couple good races with a new Ducati Multistrada and an 848. Both could outpull a SD on the straights but I just went for stupid outbraking maneuvres to get by! That new Mulitstrada is quick! I just needed that bit more oomph.
I fitted my GPR cans on the Wednesday before, but didn't have time to get the pc3 mapped before Donny. It was running a little rich and losing me some top end I think. I managed to get it custom mapped on Monday and the difference is massive! such a shame I couldn't take advantage at Donny. The bike still needs more dyno time but its a start.
My mate did some video off the pitwall and I reckon I was doing 1.28-1.30 in the Inters group. Absolutely every other bike seemed to blitz a SD on the straight, hopefully DC will agree?
I would go back there tomorrow, I managed 6 of the 7 sessions before I was beat and my mates wanted to get off home. If you haven't been before then get there asap its awesome. Like DC said its hard to get used to the speed down Craners, you always think "coulda taken that quicker" but thats just track riding in general I suppose.
I fear this could be my last trackday this year, although theres a double header at Pembrey end of October....could be a goer.
Here's some piccies.
Look at that R1 trying to keep up!
Cheers Guys
