It's about time. He's spent more time on the sidelines then he has on a bike in the past few years. You can't race if your not healthy!

I spoke to his mechanic chief (dunno if you say that in english, sorry) when he was in Tech3, and he told me Spies' problem is his entourage (?)...
He also told me he had good results with Tech3, because he could do anything he wanted, like not coming to training, or arriving 1-2hours late. Apparently he was a real prick (sorry to his fans...).
He added the problem when he went in the Yamaha factory team was that he had real obligations, which he didn't care...
