A few minutes later in the garage and we're all laughing about it. Harley man said there was a pretty impressive roost from the SD as in powered along on the grass.

I had a nice cup of tea and a B&H.

The drama continued after lunch. Same bit of track, again after passing a couple of IL4's through Graham hill.

I misjudged how fast I was gaining on a SXV550, the Jap bike were now on my shoulder so I couldn't swerve. Q a massive rolling stoppie and much tyre sqeek. I started to think I should just enjoy the sun!

I decided I'd do one more session and miss the last one. I went quicker than I had all day, the carrot ahead was a friend on a blade. I gained lap by lap. My strong point was his weak point - paddock hill bend - I started to get really close there and was thinking a pass was on there or up into druids set up by superior drive out of paddock.

His strong point was also my weak point - clearways - Dan carried a little more speed in and was on the gas a little earlier - the extra power meant he pulled out on the straight so to get real close had took me ten laps.

Anyway, just as I think I've got him I hit a rare false neutral into paddock. I pulled the clutch and shifted up - misfire strikes again - the bike died. I coasted down paddock hill trying to restart - Fail.

I parked the bike against the armso and watched Dan for a couple of laps. The only saving grace was the bike started at the end of the session so I could ride back in.

I packed up and was hone for tea at 1745.
